Meet Our Team
Isabella Leak - President
Isabella is a senior Political Science & FTT major from the Philippines New Jowsey. She is currently working as a marketing employee for the Alumni Association and is involved in research at the Technology Ethics lab. If you ever needed someone to parallel park, she’s your woman.
Eric Derr - VP of Administration
Eric is a junior currently double-majoring in PLS (Program of Liberal Studies) and Chinese, with a French minor. In his downtime he enjoys watching art restoration videos, and reading! He works for ND Studios and Fighting Irish Media where he serves as a Student Manager.
Avery Gahler - VP of Administration
Avery is a junior English and Economics major from St. Paul, Minnesota, but calls Badin Hall home. This fall Avery studied abroad in Paris, France and got to explore all around Europe (don't worry, she missed NDMT the whole time)! Outside of mock trial, Avery is involved in StuGov and works in the Law School. In her free time, Avery can be found listening to T-Swift, drinking Diet Coke, and doing the daily crossword.
James Loudenslager - VP of Travel
James is a junior from Columbia, Missouri. He’s studying Political Science, living in Knott Hall. When he’s not working at LaFun, (say hi to him whenever he loves to be disturbed) James can be found reading, perfecting his French accent, or buying 25 cent Kool-Aid.
Tiara Takyi - Treasurer
Tiara is a junior from Columbus, Ohio (she’s in a better place now). She is a Management Consulting and Marketing double major, and she’s currently interning for the Mayor. GO IRISH!
Maya Tuviera - Tournament Director
Maya is a sophomore from Manila, Philippines studying Political Science with minors in PPE, Journalism, Chinese, and the Glynn Family Honors program. When she’s not seeking experiences that will enable her to cry on the witness stand, she’s exploring the South Bend food scene and taking pictures with her digital camera.
Megan Toussaint - Secretary
Megan is a sophomore History major (with three minors that she may or may not be able to complete!) living in Cavanaugh Hall. When she's not doing mock trial, you can find her contemplating her March Madness brackets way too far in advance, sneaking off in Pittsburgh to see Mac Miller murals, or spending all of her Flex Points at Cafe J.

Connor Marrott
Connor is a senior from the best city in the world: Cleveland, OH. He is an American Studies major with minors in Irish & Costitutional Studies. Outside of mock trial, Connor is on the board of Solidarity ND. So, he can be found organizing whatever protest is happening on campus, while writing his weekly column The Observer.
Dominic Ambrose
Dominic is a sophomore from Utica NY (where?), currently living in Carroll Hall (where?). He is majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies with Business Economics and Italian minors. When he’s not posing with trophies, you can find him training to pose with a Bengal Bouts trophy or competitively trading baseball cards.
Hayden Strong
Hayden is a fifth-year senior (and senior discount recipient) from the suburbs of Philadelphia. He is an Architecture major and Glynn Scholar with a concentration in Historic Preservation, and in his limited downtime, is the guitarist and singer for acclaimed musical act Boys in the Tub. Hayden's record is 51 caffeine-free hours without sleeping.
Ryan Brogan
Ryan is a sophomore majoring in political science from Northern Kentucky. When he’s not rehearsing his openings to the wall, you can find him in Knott Hall loudly cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cincinnati Bengals or wearing suspenders (method acting).
John Vranas
John is a sophomore studying Political Science in the Glonors program (ask him about his free printing credits). He's from the suburbs of Chicago, where his lawyer parents trained him to give closing statements daily at the dinner table. When he's not crying about the pathetic Chicago Bears, he’s arguing theology in Baumer.
Seamus McGinty
Seamus McRascal McGinty is a sophomore studying finance from Cleveland, OH. Currently, he's a part of SIBC and Corporate Finance club and enjoys watching the Browns desperate and fruitless journey towards a SuperBowl. He can also probably kick higher than you.
Victor A.T. Kaminski
Victor is a sophomore majoring in Finance and Political Science from Omaha, NE (ask him about his wifi during Rookie Rumble). Outside of Mock Trial, he faces controversy for his support of both the UNL Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs (he loves Taylor’s boyfriend), as well as his predilection towards royalty-themed photoshoots.
Sean Utrie
Sean is a freshman from Appleton, WI majoring in Political Science. Outside of mock trial, he carries his team in section football and plays a mystery instrument for the band (ask him which one!). He’s also a Certified Disney Adult, a title that he provided voluntarily and wears proudly on his sleeve.
Nicole Muniz
Nicole (aka Nikki) is a freshman from New Jersey studying Political Science. When she's not at mock trial, you can find her running around the lake, at Ryan Hall waiting in line for FJs, or (voluntarily) lugging the case box around campus.
Carter Stevens
Carter is a freshman majoring in Economics from Cincinnati, OH. When he’s not practicing his statements under his breath, he enjoys running (both away from his responsibilities and around campus)!
